October 23, 2011, at sunrise - a huge success!
It's the newest event for Crave Sydney International Food Festival - with music, food, surf, celebrity chefs and breakfast!
Around 5000 Sydneysiders and visitors brought in the dawn on Sunday, October 23.
At 6am sharp we watched the sun come up (through a bit of a Sydney haze!). After a thrilling didgeridoo welcome, the 56 piece Strathfield Symphony Orchestra struck up on Sydney's most famous beach.
Food personality and author Bill Granger was there, the man whose simple, delicious, fresh food at bill’s made “Sydney breakfast” famous world-wide. And professional lifeguard and MasterChef contestant, Hayden Quinn roamed the beach to find some great breakfast spreads.
Check out the smh.com.au photo gallery of the day but and post your pix to our Facebook page. We'd love to see them.
