Art & About
Art & About is Sydney’s biggest annual outdoor public art festival. From October 1 to 25, innovative and stimulating art will enliven laneways, parks, galleries and spaces across the city, for anyone to enjoy.
Some of the favourite corners of the city from Hyde Park to the George Street laneways will be transformed into outdoor galleries. Art & About features the public photography of Sydney Life in Hyde Park North, the I Heart Kings Cross collaborative knitting project plus more to announced in September. Art & About also focuses on ideas for sustainability and urban transformation, with the Laneways By George! collection of collaborative artworks in eight laneworks in the centre of town and the Live Green House installation at Taylor Square North
