Danks Street Festival
With live entertainment, fabulous food, exhibitions, markets and much more, Danks Street Festival is a much loved event on Sydney’s calendar.
New for 2009 is the Live Green Kitchen, focusing on cooking with sustainable foods. It's hosted by Lyndey Milan and will feature leading local chefs including Jared Ingersoll, Kylie Kwong, Alex Herbert, Dave Campbell and Ashley Hughes.
Also new this year is a Handmade Market selling everything from handcrafts to sweet treats, supporting local artists and charities.
Festival favourites such as the Produce Market, PYD Design Market, the Festival bar and “Arty Pants” - interactive art for kids will mix it with more performers than ever before, surprise shows you’ll never forget and a great music line up - all guaranteed to have you cruising on a Sunday afternoon.
Danks Street Festival is presented by City of Sydney and is part of the Sydney International Food Festival program.
