World's Funniest Island Comedy Festival

World’s Funniest Island is a new, two day comedy festival on Cockatoo Island. Just like a music festival you can see all the shows, across multiple stages on one ticket.

It brings some of the world’s funniest people together for a weekend of clever comedy, and some serious chilling, in a breathtaking location.

‘Comedy’ wears a new face on the Island, with artists of all kinds from circus to burlesque, stand-up to sketch, music and art, as well as cool bars, tasty food and market stalls.   Come for the evening, the day, the weekend or even camp on site, waking to the view of Sydney Harbour.

British comedy legends The Goodies and Alexei Sayle will be joined by nearly 200 acts and shows - including locals Merrick & Rosso, Akmal, Fiona O’Loughlin, Heath Franklin’s Chopper, Tripod, Jimeoin, Scared Weird Little Guys, Sleek Geeks (Adam Spencer and Dr Karl) and 190 other acts.

World’s Funniest Island is presented by Australian Comedy Festival.
